Weber Q 6504 Griddle For Baby Q, Q100, Q120

We've read reviews of this griddle that said "Everything sticks!" But, that has NOT been our experience with it. We seasoned this griddle like we would any cast iron and before each use we wipe down the cooking surface with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then, when we heat it up, nothing will stick to it. If we're cooking eggs or something REALLY sticky, we'll put an extra drop of oil right where we're going to place the eggs. A tiny drop will do it. We love the griddle for camping--no more heating up the camper in the summertime with cooking chores. We cook everything outdoors on the Baby Q and griddle: steaks, burgers, fish, pancakes, hashbrowns, ham, cheese stix--you name it. Big secret to both the Baby Q and the griddle is to allow 10--15 minutes of warm up time BEFORE you start cooking. Get that cast iron up to temp before starting and you'll never be disappointed. Another great thing about this little griddle is that it does double duty (at least for us--your stove may be a different size) in that it also fits the back two burners of the propane range in our camper, so we can use it outdoors or inside--two griddles for the $$ of one. Also, on the Baby Q, the griddle covers the back half of the grill and leaves a small 4--5" area along the front side for a couple of small steaks or ham. We stack pancakes (or steaks) on the hot griddle, set it aside with the handles provided, and use it as a warming plate to keep what we've already cooked warm (or to let something finish cooking while we continue to use the grill). We LOVE our Baby Q and wouldn't be without the griddle. It adds SOOOO much versatility.

Griddle does everything it was advertised to do. Fits well. Lid closes with griddle inside which saves space in the RV.
