For my Man's protection!!!!!
I wanted to protect my husband when he frys our turkeys. Recommedations were for natural leather, not rubber that may melt. A splash did occur during the frying process and the apron took the oil splatter and my husband did not. I wanted this apron for turkey frying. However, he wore this apron working on the lawnmower blades and the apron cushioned the sharp edges of the blade and also when the wrench slipped. Durable, well made, attractive and my husband loves it. To me there are no cons concerning this item.
