Very Large!
I grew up using cast iron skillets, so I knew this would be heavy. But, this is very heavy!!! My biggest issue with this griddle was trying to season it. I didn't think about whether or not it would fit in my oven to season, and it doesn't. I even have a friend with an industrial oven (36" instead of 30") and it still didn't fit because the handles make this wider than 28". I live in Brooklyn, so no backyard to make a firepit or a grill to put it into to season. I ended up doing it (very carefully, watching constantly) on the stove top- moving it around until it was all blackened and seasoned. After that ordeal, I love it! It fits nicely over 2 burners, the food tastes great, and not a big deal to clean, then back to the stove on the fire to dry it.
